Cell is the opening song on Cojum Dip's self-titled album. It is the third song on the Anthropomorphic Bible Assault EP and the fourth one on the Turk Off EP.

History

Cell is one of two new songs present on the Anthropomorphic Bible Assault EP, released in 2006. As with most songs on the EP, it features rawer vocals than on later releases. It appeared on the 2008 release of the Turk Off EP and was then rerecorded for 2010 Remix, later being featured on the self-titled album with cleaner mixing.

Trivia

  • In the song, an automatic voice mail from a cellular device is sampled, hence the name Cell.

Lyrics

(You have one unheard message
First unheard message)

I was the king of it
And one word ruined all

Absolve then you and I
Would have won which is why

I will take out a bullshit policy
Still, I am lost
How could you forget me?
Where do I sign for us to make amends?
Here, you're a dream
Why can't we just be friends?

When would you then forgive?
Me unrelated to
Slipped through your hands
Like a sieve

I will take out a bullshit policy
Still, I am lost
How could you forget me?
Where do I sign for us to make amends?
Here, you're a dream
Why can't we just be friends?

I will take out a bullshit policy
Still, I am lost
How could you forget me?
Where do I sign for us to make amends?
Here, you're a dream
Why can't we just be friends?

I will dissolve while you
Will find a way to never be with anyone
Anyone
Anyone
You're a friend
I will dissolve while you
Will find a way to be with anyone
Anyone
Anyone
You're a friend

Avant-garde you are not
Why won't you just follow me?
