Bodur the Clumsy, Ambassador of teh Awesome is the persona of the vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, accordionist, bagpipes, baglama, darbuka, power drill and saxophone player of Cojum Dip.
General information
A Wikipedia article from 2006[1] describes how Bodur formed the band:
"Bodur the Clumsy awoke from his slumber of a thousand years and turned on his radio. The sounds which came forth were weak, mundane, slow, and did not rock nasty enough. So, with the help of his childhood nemesis Laurence (a.k.a. Oktabis, Keeper of the River of Lost Souls), a group was formed that would right the foolish humans in their ways and destroy rock and roll. . . again"
According to the self-titled album's PDF booklet, Bodur the Clumsy, allergic to forearms since birth, vowed to invent the tornado. He later invented the tornado.[2]
Bodur wears a black, red and yellow shocker mask along with a red cape in early live shows or a red karate suit with a black belt in later live shows. A V-Tuber model of Bodur was made around 2020: Bodur sports a different suit along with a yellow and purple mask.
Bodur is played by the founder of the band, Bora Karaca.
