Mumutits the Sour, Sultan of the Strings is the persona of the guitarist, saw player, traffic barrel player, and keyboardist of Cojum Dip.

General information

According to the self-titled album's PDF booklet, Mumutits exposed himself to harmful gamma rays as a child, and as such, cannot say the phrase "running water". In the "What is Cojum Dip?" documentary, it is revealed that Mumutits is the manifestation of sour cotton candy.[1]

Mumutits originally wore a silver and pink shocker mask with a pink cape, but before the first live show, the mask was changed to a pale pink mask with white lines and a biohazard symbol, and he now wears a pink tank top. During later live shows, this was changed to a pink karate suit with a white belt, and starting from the May 26th, 2006 Magic Stick live show, his mask was changed to use a shiny material.

Mumutits was played by Brian McCorkle, leader of musical projects such as "What Color is Your Machine Gun?", from February 18th, 2005 to September 20th, 2006. Brian did not portray Mumutits at the 2008 reunion show, instead being replaced by a currently unknown portrayer. He is also occasionally played by band founder Bora Karaca.
